The SAI company, over 15 years ago, developed a new oil mist eliminator technology with coalescing high-density glass fibre for the energy production business (gas turbine / generator), which was then broadened for many applications. Its main asset compared with other filtering technologies on the market: 99,9 % efficiency, even over aerosols constituted mainly from particles of about 0.2 micron (size of particles among the most difficult to intercept and mainly given off by running machinery). This filtering is also applicable to air / gas mixtures and any other liquid.

Gas-liquid separators

Standard: from 60 to 2000 cubic meter per hour or according to requirements.

From mixing characteristics:
• air or gas,
• oil or other liquid,
• flow rate (Nm3 per hour),

and possibly:
• concentration of oil or other liquid (g/Nm3),
• particular constraints: by-pass, de-pressurisation by suction with or without regulation, measurement
instruments (manometer, pressure transmitter, pressostat, etc.), filtering and/or redundant ventilation, etc.
• distribution of the form of liquid: aerosol / steam (% massic),
• for the aerosol form: average size or distribution of the size of particles.

99,9 % separation power (measured by the C.E.R.M. over an aerosol of 80 to 90% of particles of about
0.2 micron)

The SAI coalescing filter oil demisters are suitable for installations that are classified as subject the French
Ministry Decree of 2nd February 1998. They also satisfy most standards fixed by government standards
for different types of installations (energy production, air conditioning, industrial productions, etc.) They
also enable us to reduce the fouling of diesel engine air filters especially by retaining steam.

• Oil sump ventilation on:
- gas turbine,
- generators,
- steam turbines,
- compressors,
- internal combustion engines.
• Factory machinery.
• Vacuum pump exhaust.
• Compressors / refrigerators, etc.

• GEEP (gas turbines),
• ALSTOM (generators),
• CATERPILLAR (diesel engines),
• More than 500 references to date, operating worldwide.
